Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows Server environments (AWS, Azure, on-prem)
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead incident response for critical outages with SLA-driven resolution
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning and monitoring (Splunk, Datadog)
- Implement robust security protocols (NIST compliance, CIS benchmarks)
- Document architecture and create runbooks for operational procedures
- Manage cloud resource costs and vendor relationships
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with hybrid cloud expertise
- Advanced certifications: AWS SysOps/DevOps or Azure Administrator
- Proficiency in Python/Shell scripting for automation
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Deep understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls)
- Proven incident management and disaster recovery leadership
- Ability to mentor junior administrators and drive process improvements
