Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Linux infrastructure across on-premise and AWS environments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols (Firewalls, VPNs)
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell/Bash scripting
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system patching/upgrades during maintenance windows
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Datadog, and SolarWinds
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain comprehensive runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2016+ and RHEL/CentOS
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS EC2, S3, VPC) and hybrid architecture integration
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code practices
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues using Wireshark and tcpdump
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
