Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Windows/Linux server environments with 99.9% uptime
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity frameworks including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible and Terraform
- Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid network architectures
- Lead disaster recovery planning and incident response protocols
- Document systems architecture and maintain configuration management databases
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and LDAP
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect preferred
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record in implementing backup/recovery solutions
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and vendor management experience
