Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliability of on-premise and cloud-based server environments (Linux & Windows).
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor network security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to protect sensitive data.
- Automation: Develop and deploy scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine administrative tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Cloud Integration: Manage and optimize cloud resources on AWS or Azure, ensuring cost-effective scaling.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for internal stakeholders with minimal downtime.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Networking: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and firewalls.
- Scripting: Ability to write and maintain scripts for automation and system administration.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
