We're seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team in Arlington, TX. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies for 500+ users
- Oversee backup/DR solutions using Veeam and AWS S3
- Proactively monitor infrastructure with SolarWinds and resolve Tier 3 incidents
- Collaborate on security hardening and compliance audits (SOX, HIPAA)
- Document SOPs and create automation scripts using PowerShell/Python
- Lead server migrations and capacity planning initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of system administration in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019+ and Ubuntu/CentOS Linux
- Active certification: CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or AWS SysOps
- Advanced networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Proven incident response and disaster recovery leadership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
