Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows Server environments across AWS and on-premises infrastructure
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
- Oversee cloud migrations and hybrid architecture deployments using Terraform and Ansible
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backup protocols
- Monitor performance metrics and proactively resolve system bottlenecks
- Document SOPs and create automation scripts for routine tasks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience with Linux/Windows Server
- AWS/Azure certification (SAA, AZ-800) or equivalent cloud expertise
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Security certifications (Security+, CISSP preferred)
- Proven track record in infrastructure scaling and high-availability environments
