Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of on-premise servers and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security measures, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect sensitive data.
- System Performance: Monitor system health and performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Network Administration: Configure and troubleshoot network equipment, including switches, routers, and VPNs.
- User Support: Provide advanced technical support to internal stakeholders and assist with user account management and permissions.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Develop and execute robust backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to mitigate data loss risks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
