Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and virtualization platforms (VMware/KVM)
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system health with ELK stack and Splunk; proactively resolve performance bottlenecks
- Manage AWS/Azure environments including EC2, S3, and Active Directory integration
- Document SOPs and conduct disaster recovery drills quarterly
- Mentor junior administrators and lead cross-functional IT projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years in system administration)
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking (TCP/IP, VLANs)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure Administrator preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and multi-site deployments
- Strong troubleshooting skills with diagnostic tools (Wireshark, Nagios)
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder collaboration
