Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols (Firewall, VPN)
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/SolarWinds and proactively resolve issues
- Execute disaster recovery plans and data backup procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline automation
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with NIST standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Azure Administrator preferred
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts and handle high-pressure situations
