Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory infrastructure
- Implement and monitor cloud solutions including Azure and AWS services
- Oversee network security protocols, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems
- Handle system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex hardware/software issues
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and scripting tools
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with ITIL standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in system administration with Windows environments
- CompTIA Security+ and MCSA/MCSE certifications required
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and TCP/IP fundamentals
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to work under pressure
- Valid Ohio driver's license for occasional on-site visits
