Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Windows/Linux server environments supporting 500+ users
- Proactively monitor system health using Nagios/Zabbix to prevent downtime
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure with emphasis on security best practices
- Lead disaster recovery initiatives and execute regular DR testing protocols
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and PowerShell scripting
- Document IT infrastructure and maintain comprehensive system documentation
- Provide Tier-3 support resolution for complex technical issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert-level proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Active Directory
- Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL/CentOS preferred)
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and containerization (Docker)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Proven scripting experience (PowerShell/Bash) for automation
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts (1 week/month)
