Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure spanning AWS, Azure, and on-premise data centers
- Implement robust monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack for proactive issue resolution
- Automate system provisioning and configuration management with Ansible, Terraform, and Chef
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover drills for critical services
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and implement infrastructure-as-code practices
- Conduct quarterly security audits and remediate vulnerabilities using Nessus and Qualys
- Document system architectures and create runbooks for complex infrastructure components
- Mentor junior administrators and conduct monthly technology workshops
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with proven expertise in Linux/Windows Server environments
- Advanced certification in AWS/Azure (Solutions Architect or equivalent) and/or CompTIA Server+
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and load balancing
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and service mesh technologies
- Strong background in cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS) and compliance standards
- Demonstrable experience with infrastructure monitoring tools and log analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex multi-tier systems
