Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level server infrastructure (Windows/Linux) using VMware and Azure
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems with 99.9% uptime SLA
- Execute security protocols including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and firewall configuration
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system incidents and service requests
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible for operational efficiency
- Document infrastructure changes using ITIL-compliant service management tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- CCNA or equivalent network certification required
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for automation
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Ability to lift 40lbs for hardware maintenance
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
