Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Linux/Windows server environments
- Optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms
- Lead security hardening and compliance initiatives (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Automate provisioning with Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/Grafana and proactively resolve issues
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure-as-code implementations
- Document procedures and create runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Linux/Windows systems
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration
- Advanced scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with monitoring tools and incident response
