Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server infrastructure including Windows Server and Linux environments
- Manage cloud services (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures with robust security protocols
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement preventive measures
- Oversee backup/recovery systems and disaster recovery planning
- Collaborate with network engineers to ensure seamless integration of systems
- Document IT infrastructure configurations and maintain comprehensive knowledge base
- Mentor junior IT staff and provide technical guidance on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert-level proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
- Certifications in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Server+ preferred
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Proven track record in network security protocols and compliance frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
