Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure and network systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Manage and monitor Linux and Windows Server environments, including patching, updates, and performance tuning.
- Configure and troubleshoot enterprise-grade firewalls, routers, switches, and VPN technologies.
- Develop and execute system backups, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity procedures.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
- Enforce strict security protocols and conduct regular vulnerability assessments to protect company data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy) and Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly preferred.
- Expert knowledge of network fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, RHCE, or CCNP are a plus.
