Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments including virtualization (VMware/KVM)
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure with emphasis on security hardening
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Zabbix to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Execute network administration tasks including firewall configuration and VPN management
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute regular backup/restore procedures
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document SOPs and create technical training materials for junior staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS 8+
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Strong scripting skills in Python/PowerShell for automation
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Proven experience with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities with complex multi-tier systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
