Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect systems from cyber threats
- Oversee network administration including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery, and capacity planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new technologies
- Document IT processes and create technical documentation
- Provide Tier-3 support and troubleshooting for complex system issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
