Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect company assets.
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including VPNs, VLANs, and load balancers.
- Automate routine tasks and IT processes using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Oversee database administration tasks and ensure data integrity and backup recovery procedures are in place.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize resource utilization.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior administrators.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Exchange.
- Proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or CCNA is highly preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
