Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure, including Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Design, implement, and enforce comprehensive security policies, firewalls, and VPN configurations to protect sensitive data.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for complex system failures and network issues.
- Automate repetitive administrative tasks and deployment pipelines using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Collaborate closely with the DevOps and Network Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and system scalability.
- Conduct regular system audits, perform patch management, and optimize system performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role.
- Deep expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) and configuration management tools (Ansible/Terraform).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly preferred.
- CompTIA Security+, RHCE, or similar certifications are a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
