Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Oversee network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and VPN solutions
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python for operational efficiency
- Provide Level 3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff
- Document systems architecture and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in VMware vSphere and cloud platform management
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Proven disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Active CISSP or CISA certification preferred
