Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Linux/Windows server environments
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) including VPCs, IAM, and auto-scaling groups
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Datadog
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
- Collaborate with development teams on infrastructure-as-code solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- AWS/Azure certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- ITIL foundation certification preferred
