Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and on-premise data centers
- Lead security hardening initiatives, vulnerability assessments, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Optimize cloud infrastructure performance through automation (Ansible, Terraform) and cost analysis
- Manage enterprise-level monitoring tools (Nagios, Datadog) for proactive incident response
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Document system architectures, SOPs, and disaster recovery protocols
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with 3+ years in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and container technologies
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent network certification required
- Proven track record in designing high-availability architectures
- CISSP or similar security certification preferred
