Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds
- Execute disaster recovery protocols and maintain 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Automate workflows with Ansible/Terraform and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) deployments
- Document SOPs and conduct quarterly infrastructure audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2019+ and Ubuntu/RHEL environments
- Expertise in AWS/Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud architecture
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent Linux certifications
- Advanced scripting (Python/PowerShell) for automation
- Deep knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with enterprise hardware (SAN/NAS)
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
