Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain server infrastructure across on-premise and hybrid cloud environments.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access protocols to ensure secure and efficient operations.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and perform preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate deployment processes and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery plans are tested and up to date.
- Conduct regular security audits and patch management to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior administrators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), and Active Directory.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is highly preferred.
- Valid certification such as CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or CISSP is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
