Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server environments (2019/2022) with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure with emphasis on cost optimization
- Oversee VMware ESXi clusters and Hyper-V deployments for 500+ virtual machines
- Implement robust backup/recovery solutions using Veeam and Zerto
- Proactively monitor system health using SCOM and Nagios
- Lead security initiatives including patch management and compliance auditing
- Document infrastructure changes and create runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years administering enterprise Windows environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS management
- Strong background in VMware vSphere and Hyper-V virtualization
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) services
- CompTIA Security+, MCSA, or equivalent certifications
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure issues
