We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic infrastructure team in Philadelphia, PA. Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily operations of servers, storage systems, and network equipment to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Cloud Administration: Manage and optimize AWS and Azure cloud environments, including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and auto-scaling groups.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain rigorous security protocols, conduct regular vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash to streamline deployment processes and reduce manual intervention.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues across the enterprise network with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Linux (Red Hat, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations.
