Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, VMware, and Azure
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures including firewalls, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk to prevent outages
- Automate routine tasks through PowerShell/Bash scripting and Ansible
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical infrastructure incidents
- Document SOPs and create knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, Exchange Online, and Office 365
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and hybrid networking
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V)
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
- Valid US driver's license and clean background check
