Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and Azure
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and Terraform
- Monitor system performance with Splunk and Nagios, resolving incidents proactively
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP infrastructure
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document SOPs and conduct quarterly disaster recovery drills
- Lead security patching and vulnerability remediation initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server 2019+
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- AWS/Azure certification (AZ-104/AWS SysOps)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
