Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, VMware, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Implement robust security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery solutions
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python and manage containerized applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure scaling and optimization projects
- Document procedures and provide technical guidance to junior staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Expert-level knowledge of virtualization (VMware), cloud platforms, and networking fundamentals
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell/Python) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience in incident resolution
