Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure) with 10,000+ user capacity
- Implement robust security protocols including Active Directory, firewalls, and endpoint protection
- Automate deployment pipelines using Ansible/Terraform for 50+ production servers
- Lead disaster recovery planning with RTOs under 4 hours and RPOs under 15 minutes
- Optimize system performance using Nagios/Prometheus monitoring stacks
- Mentor junior administrators on enterprise best practices
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware/software procurement
Qualifications
- 5+ years enterprise system administration experience with Windows/Linux environments
- Expert-level certification (CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or RHCSA)
- Proven track record with hybrid cloud migrations (AWS/Azure)
- Advanced scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash) for automation
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Deep understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex multi-tier systems
