Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Manage and troubleshoot complex Windows Server and Linux environments across 500+ endpoints
- Lead security hardening and compliance initiatives (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Automate deployment pipelines using Ansible and Jenkins CI/CD
- Monitor system performance with Nagios/Grafana and proactively resolve bottlenecks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on Kubernetes orchestration and containerization
- Document SOPs and create disaster recovery plans with 99.99% uptime targets
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise system administration with 3+ years in cloud environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Red Hat/CentOS Linux
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- AWS/Azure certifications (SAA, AZ-700) or equivalent hands-on experience
- Proven track record with virtualization (VMware vSphere) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Datadog) and log management (ELK Stack)
