Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server infrastructure (Windows/Linux)
- Oversee cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and hybrid network architectures
- Lead security protocols and compliance initiatives (SOX/HIPAA)
- Manage system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document procedures and mentor junior IT staff
- Provide 24/7 on-call support rotation
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise experience
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS/Azure certified preferred
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (Nagios/SolarWinds)
- Proven troubleshooting for complex network and server issues
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
