Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex multi-platform IT infrastructure (Windows/Linux)
- Lead cloud migration projects (AWS/Azure) with zero-downtime protocols
- Monitor and optimize network performance using Nagios/Zabbix
- Develop automation scripts (Python/PowerShell) for operational efficiency
- Manage enterprise security protocols (SIEM, firewalls, access controls)
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and incident response
- Mentor junior administrators and document SOPs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2016+ and Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or equivalent
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and DevOps pipelines
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Ability to manage SLAs and KPIs for critical infrastructure
