Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based systems (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and maintain network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS
- Design, deploy, and automate IT infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
- Monitor system performance using Nagios and Splunk with proactive incident response
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover drills
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of system administration experience with enterprise environments
- Expert-level certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and virtualization (VMware)
