Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's servers, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and maintain virtualization solutions using VMware or Hyper-V.
- Oversee network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and implement patches and updates.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and infrastructure.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior system administrators.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy) and Linux administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere preferred).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Valid IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, VCP, or MCSA) are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
