Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible and Terraform
- Monitor system performance and security using Splunk and Nagios
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and incident response protocols
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to modern architectures
- Document SOPs and provide technical guidance to junior staff
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019+ and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven track record in infrastructure automation
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities
- Ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities
