Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize Linux/Windows server infrastructure across AWS and on-premises environments
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Automate system provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor performance metrics and proactively resolve system bottlenecks
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover tests
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent certification (CompTIA, RHCE)
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level systems in cloud/on-prem hybrid environments
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Active Directory management
- Deep experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, CloudWatch)
- Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- ITIL certification or equivalent operational framework experience
