Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Windows/Linux server environments
- Oversee cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure with IaC best practices
- Manage network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Optimize system performance through monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
- Lead disaster recovery initiatives and ensure 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Document infrastructure configurations and create SOPs for operational excellence
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash/Python) for automation
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- Proven ability to manage complex multi-site infrastructure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
