Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Proactively monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover drills
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell/Python scripting
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Coordinate hardware lifecycle management and procurement
- Document SOPs and create knowledge base articles for IT team
- Provide Tier 3 support escalation for critical incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2016+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure services (EC2, S3, VPC, Azure AD)
- Certification required: CompTIA Server+ or equivalent (AWS/Azure certs preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, and security protocols
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure issues
