Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and on-premises infrastructure
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Manage network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and IAM configurations
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system outages and performance optimization
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with SOC 2 standards
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute regular DR drills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Linux and Windows Server environments
- Expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Strong scripting skills in Python/Bash with CI/CD pipeline experience
- Proficient in network troubleshooting using Wireshark and tcpdump
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
