Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk to prevent downtime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations for 500+ users
- Execute disaster recovery drills and backup solutions with RTO/RPO compliance
- Automate provisioning using Ansible/Terraform and container orchestration with Kubernetes
- Collaborate with security teams to harden systems against emerging threats
- Document SOPs and create knowledge base articles for team scalability
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering enterprise-grade Linux/Windows Server environments
- Expertise in AWS/Azure cloud services and hybrid architecture integration
- Proficiency with scripting (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Certified in CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills with root cause analysis methodology
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
