Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with 24/7 monitoring
- Implement automation using Ansible/Terraform for 500+ servers
- Lead security hardening and compliance initiatives (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Design disaster recovery solutions with RTO < 4 hours
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system outages
- Document SOPs and create knowledge base articles
- Mentor junior sysadmins through rotational program
Qualifications
- 5+ years Linux/Windows Server administration experience
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC) and Azure fundamentals
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Certifications: AWS SysOps/DevOps Engineer or equivalent
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Proven track record in high-availability environments
