Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Oversee Active Directory administration, user management, and group policies.
- Implement and monitor cloud solutions, primarily leveraging AWS or Azure for scalability and cost-efficiency.
- Execute regular system patching, security updates, and backups to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with network engineers to troubleshoot complex connectivity and hardware issues.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration or IT support.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory.
- Experience with Linux administration and scripting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
