Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily administration, maintenance, and support of server infrastructure (Linux, Windows Server).
- Design, implement, and manage virtualization environments using VMware and Hyper-V.
- Configure and secure network devices, firewalls, and VPNs to protect sensitive data.
- Develop and execute automated backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Advanced proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for system automation.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.
