Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructures
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols, including vulnerability assessments and intrusion detection
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning and automation scripting (Python/PowerShell)
- Lead disaster recovery drills and ensure 99.99% uptime for mission-critical applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business objectives
- Document system configurations and create operational runbooks for compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Linux and Windows Server environments
- Expertise in AWS/Azure cloud services and hybrid networking architectures
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise firewalls
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or AWS Certified SysOps)
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
