Job Description
We're urgently seeking a Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team in San Francisco. You'll be the backbone of our cloud operations, ensuring 99.99% uptime while architecting scalable solutions for 10,000+ users. This hybrid role offers competitive equity packages and direct impact on our product roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize AWS/GCP infrastructure including EC2, S3, and Kubernetes clusters
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Lead incident response with PagerDuty integration and root cause analysis
- Automate monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana and security compliance with CIS benchmarks
- Design disaster recovery plans and perform quarterly failover drills
- Mentor junior sysadmins and document infrastructure blueprints
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Linux/Windows Server administration in cloud environments
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Certification in AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent
- Strong Python/Go scripting for automation
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Deep knowledge of network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
