Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server infrastructure across hybrid-cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Lead security hardening initiatives and compliance audits (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
- Document infrastructure architecture and create runbooks
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support (1 week/month)
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server 2019+
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Certifications required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers)
- Proven incident response and disaster recovery experience
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs for hardware maintenance
