Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premise and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex infrastructure issues and performance optimization
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system upgrades during maintenance windows
- Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure with DevOps best practices
- Document system configurations, procedures, and create technical runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2016+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and storage issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to document technical processes
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
