Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments in Azure/AWS
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/Zabbix and optimize resource allocation
- Execute patch management, vulnerability scanning, and security compliance (NIST/CIS)
- Develop automation scripts using Python/PowerShell for deployment workflows
- Lead disaster recovery testing and incident response protocols
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document SOPs and create technical knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL 8+
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Ansible)
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+/Linux+ or equivalent cloud certifications (AWS/Azure)
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex hybrid infrastructure issues
- Ability to work flexible hours for critical maintenance windows
